Gov. Ron DeSantis’ Safer At Home Order: What Does it Mean for the Restaurant Industry

Gov. Ron DeSantis’ Safer At Home Order: What Does it Mean for the Restaurant Industry

What does Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ safer at home order mean for restaurants in Florida?

“All businesses or organizations are encouraged to provide delivery, carry-out or curbside service outside of the business or organization, of orders placed online or via telephone, to the greatest extent practicable.”

Other states are under similar orders as the nation works to get us through the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation. What started with capacity limits has given way to the majority of restaurants and many other establishments shutting down in-house services altogether. To better serve customers during this time, many restaurants have offered additional services to better serve their customers as well as improve their bottom line.

This includes gift card promotions, online ordering, curbside pick-up, and delivery services, including family packages, catering, and ready-to-cook options. Some restaurants are also including wine, beer, and/or liquor for pick-up.

Many of our Central Florida clients are still open and here to serve the community, including:
